At present I am doing my PhD at University of California Davis, USA in the Materials Science and Engineering program. Earlier I completed my MSc as well as BSc on Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology at 2010 and 2008, respectively. After completion of my BSc Engineering I served the MME department, BUET for three and half years as a Lecturer and then as an Assistant Professor. At that time I worked as the secretary of the Board of Undergraduate Study (BUGS) and as a BRTC member of the department.

I was the Cultural and Literature Secretary of the BUET teachers’ Association during the year 2009. During undergraduate studies I have worked on Zirconia toughened Alumina (ZTA) Biomaterials. Here I have tried to optimize the process parameters to get desired mechanical properties. In M.Sc. research work I wanted to expose myself with modeling and simulation by realizing its necessity in Materials Science and I developed an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model to predict the properties of ZTA from process parameters using MATLAB. Moreover, I have developed a semi-automatic technique to measure the grain size of material from microstructure using MATLAB.
